Day Look using Too Faced Natural Eye Palette and Secret to No Makeup Makeup Palette

Hello glam babes!!

I cannot believe all the hits I'm getting on my post about the new Too Faced Fall 2012 Collection entitled Pretty Rebel. You can see that post here. So in honor of Too Faced, this is another Too Faced Look. I decided to do a very casual day look, the type of look you'd wear at the office. Or, well, the kind of look I'D wear at the office. You can always tone it down if you want. I always thought I had done at least 1 look using the Too Faced Natural Eye palette, but it seems I haven't. So I will eventually do all 3 looks, but for now, here's the first.

I used the Too Faced Natural Eye palette for this look as well as their No Makeup Makeup palette. Since I wanted to do a very soft, casual look, I also opted for the Too Faced Tinted BB Cream. I did the "Day Look" in the Natural Eye palette. I put Heaven all over my eye, from the lashes to the brow. I put Velvet Revolver in the crease and above, for a cut-crease effect. I also did the outer V and the outer lid with that shade. I lined my eyes in cat eye fashion using Sexpresso and I also lined the bottom of my eyes. I used Too Faced Perfect Eyes in Perfect Black to line the upper and lower waterlines. These eyes are sexy, sophisticated, yet simple and casual. It can be worn day or night. You can even wear Sexpresso just as a normal line and add the cat eye wings at night when you're going out. These 3 eyeshadows are also all matte shades, so they're also great for older women.

For the face, I used my MAC Select Cover-Up Concealer as usual and I used the Too Faced Tinted BB Cream. I used the Too Faced No Makeup Makeup palette next. I used the Bronzing Veil to contour, meaning sucking in your cheeks and applying bronzer to the line and above the line. I also outline my face with bronzer and down the sides of the nose. I used the Cream Blush on my cheeks and the Luminize on my cheek bones, middle of nose, forehead, chin and the bow of the upper lip. On the lips I used the Cream Blush from the Too Faced No Makeup Makeup palette. I also used Lip Injection Extreme to create big pouty lips.

I hoped you like this day friendly look! I enjoyed doing this and it's definitely a work appropriate look. I will also be doing the other 2 looks from this palette. I hope you liked this look, leave me a comment telling me what you liked most about it! Did you like the eyes and the added cat eye wings? What did you think of the Too Faced Natural Eye palette? Yay or Nay? What did you think about the Too Faced Tinted BB Cream? Personally I like this one much better than their Air-Buffed BB Creme. I also really liked the Secret to No Makeup Makeup palette compared to their Natural Face palette. The No Makeup Makeup palette is a lot lighter and it is better for lighter skinned girls, like me. The blush is the perfect shade of pink and the bronzer is light enough for me to wear. I really like this palette. Did you like it or did you prefer the Natural Face palette and why?

Hot Humid Summer Day Makeup using MAC and Too Faced

Hey makeup freaks,

I know I promised yesterday that I would do that MAC Club eyeshadow look that I've been wanting to do for a long long time, but today's weather was sooo humid and sooo hot. I know it's Fashion Friday but the weather didn't like that idea. We had our first actual day of summer here where the temperature actually reached 30C. I wasn't in the mood to do a full face of makeup just to have it melt off within 5 minutes. I'll do it tomorrow instead, it's not supposed to be as hot. With that said, I decided to do a Hot Humid Summer Day Makeup look. It's the kind of look you would wear out and about or even to the beach if you wanted (just wear waterproof mascara in that case). You could even wear it to work, as it's very simple but still elegant. It's the kind of look where you don't have to worry or feel like all your makeup is slowly melting off you. The whole day later, and my makeup is still perfectly on! Today's look is a mix between MAC and Too Faced products.

I did what I call a day cat eye, where I lined the upper lash line in black and lined the lower lash line with a light pink to open up the eyes. I used MAC's So Sweet So Easy Cremeblend Blush and I was going to pair it with Too Faced's La Creme in Marshmallow Bunny but I figured you'd seen this lipstick a million times by now, so I went with NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Roman Holiday instead. I wore NARS Lipgloss in Turkish Delight over it to make it glossy. Too Faced Pink Leopard is my favorite bronzer and looks great all the time.

I know I'm not smiling in these photos. My friend just passed away yesterday and the reality of it is finally sinking in.

Hot Humid Summer Day Makeup

Eyes:

Too Faced Shadow Insurance
MAC Fluidline in Blitz n Glitz (line upper lashline in a cat eye fashion)
Too Faced Perfect Eyes in Perfect Black (line upper waterline)
Benefit Eye Bright (line lower lashline to open eyes and blend in to the inner corner of the eye area)
Too Faced Lashgasm

If you don't like lining the eyes with Benefit Eye Bright or just want a more sexy cat eye, I would put Too Faced Perfect Eyes in Perfect Black in the waterline and MAC Pearl Eyeliner in Black Swan on the lower lashline to get that sultry cat eye look.

Face:

Too Faced Primed and Poreless
MAC Select Cover-Up Concealer in NW20
Too Faced Tinted Beauty Balm in Snow Glow

Benefit High Beam
MAC Cremeblend Blush in So Sweet So Easy

So this is my Hot Humid Summer Day Makeup look using MAC and Too Faced products (and a bit of Benefit and NARS as well!). I hope you enjoyed the look, sorry I posted it a little late but I've got a lot going on right now in my head. I think this look is excellent for a hot humid day where you just can't stop sweating and you're feeling like all your makeup is melting off. So instead of heavy, full makeup, opt for this light and fresh look!

Did you like the look? Do you love a classic cat eye? Do you like how Benefit Eye Bright brightens up your eyes and your look? Do you like MAC Blitz & Glitz or do you prefer MAC Blacktrack? Do you like Too Faced Tinted Beauty Balm? Do you prefer this one or the new one, Too Faced Air-Buffed BB Creme? Did you like the MAC blush in So Sweet So Easy? And did you like the NARS Lip Pencil and Lip Gloss together? Let me know what your favorite part about this look is.

Thanks for reading.

The "Alison" Look from Too Faced Loves Sephora palette

Hello dolls and boys,

[Sorry about the delay with the posts, I fell asleep last night while reading a novel before I was done!! Just randomly woke up so I'm posting 1 thing for now (maybe 2 if generous feeling), I've got 2 more posts coming later and one more post tonight about today's look.]

I have yet another look from the Too Faced Loves Sephora palette. I don't know if you can tell, but I'm just a little obsessed with my new palette. I'll probably be using it every day for a little while. Today's look is the "Alison", which is a look from the Look Book, or Glamour Guide, and is very simple and natural looking. Well except for the black liner and cat eye, but you could easily replace that with the same brown shadow used in the look, and you can simply line your top and bottom lash lines without doing the cat eye. The eyeshadows are really light and natural, you're using white and brown. I stayed true to the look and the products used, except that I used Chocolate Soleil in addition to everything in the look. I never tried Chocolate Soleil before and was excited to try it. I like the colour, but it can be a tad bit too dark for my light skin if I don't pay attention to the amount I'm putting on, so I prefer Bronzed and Poreless as a matte bronzer. It's lighter on my skin than Chocolate Soleil. Both are great bronzers. And I used the blush that comes in the palette, of course.

So I hope you like this look, I actually really like it and I see this look becoming a new favourite. If I hadn't done my Top5 before I got this palette, I would have surely included it on the list. When I've used almost every single colour, I will post a review on this palette. But so far I really do love it. It comes with 10 eyeshadows, 1 blush, 2 bronzers, mini Shadow Insurance and a Flatbuki brush. Everything is limited edition (meaning in this palette only) except for the two bronzers, Sun Bunny and Chocolate Soleil.

Which of their Glamour Glosses is similar to mine that you would recommend (looking for pink/nude/natural)?

Keep checking for more posts, should be at least 3 today!
