Boxing Day Makeup and Skincare Haul!

Hello darlings!!

My Sephora package has finally arrived!! It took a week to get here, which is about usual for Sephora. I was worried it might come next week, that it might have been stuck with all the other Christmas and Boxing Day things in the mail. You lucky Americans have 2-3 day shipping while us Canadians have to wait a whole week! But it finally did come  :)

So I'm sure you all want to know what I got. What deals did I find? I have to say that I was a little disappointed with Sephora's 12$CAD/10$US choice of minis. They really didn't have as much to choose as they did on Black Friday. I think they had maybe 8 or 10 things to choose from while on Black Friday they had at least two dozen, plus on Boxing Day part of that 8-10 also includes Black Friday leftovers! So they really didn't have many new items on sale. But they did have an extra 20% off on sale items, which I think was the redeeming quality on this sale. They had a lot of GOOD things in their sale section, which surprised me because I'm so used to seeing junk that no one else wants. But they really did have some great things to choose from, plus an extra 20% off an already discounted price. So really I paid peanuts for my makeup. They had the Ciate nail polish kits, Nails Inc nail polish kits, a couple great Stila kits, Too Faced Christmas makeup sets, etc, along with a whole bunch of other things.

Just to mention, I went both to the store and ordered online on Boxing Day. I'll try to say what everything cost and I only bought one item that wasn't a sale item.

I also went to the Body Shop because I was running out of Coconut Body Scrub and my beloved Tea Tree Blemish Night Fade Lotion. They had some great deals going on there. For all their regular items, it was buy 2 get 2 free (instead of their usual buy 2 get 1) and buy 3 get 3 (instead of buy 3 get 2) which basically amounts to buy one get one free. All their holiday stuff was crazy on sale, basically all on clearance. I was really loving the Vanilla smelling stuff, shame they were getting rid of it!

Boxing Day Makeup and Skincare Haul

The Body Shop

Coconut Body Scrub X2

This is my favourite scrub so I stocked up! I find it makes you smell pretty and it does a great job of scrubbing off all the dirt that gets stuck on your skin. It makes me feel super clean.

Coconut Body Butter (double-sized)

I love my Coconut Body Butters! Again, stocking up on their old double-sized ones from last Christmas that they still had. They're usually not eligible for the discount, but today they were!

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner

I've been using this toner for a while now and I find it helps to restore the balance and pH of my skin. I've been changing my skincare routine around and so far, this has made the cut. I am also trying out other products to improve skin.

Tea Tree Blemish Night Fade Lotion X2

This is one of my all-time favourite skin products, by far. I've been using it ever since I discovered it as a sample. It really helps a lot to diminish redness and even scarring. It helps pimples and blackheads clear up and it helps my face to not be as oily. It's definitely a holy grail product that I think everyone should try at least once.

Vanilla Bliss Mini Hand Cream X3 - only 2$CAD each!! reg. price was around 6$CAD!!

These mini hand creams are so cute! They're the perfect size for your purse so I got myself an additional one to put in my purse and I got my mom two so that she could have one by her bed at night and one for her purse. At this price, why not buy 10? They smell great too. It isn't completely vanilla, there's also something else there but I can't place it. My mom really loved the smell when I showed her mine so I knew I had to get her a couple. Get them while you still can! The rest of the Vanilla Bliss holiday stuff smells great and is also on clearance!!

Sephora

Boscia Pore Purifying Black Strips (12 strip pack) - 34$CAD

So this one isn't a sale item, but I after getting them in the Boscia Pore Perfection set on Black Friday, I had to pick up a full-size. These strips will seriously rip out all the goo and crap in your pores on your nose and it'll leave your nose feeling so clean! Say goodbye to blackheads! I use them once every week or two and it really helps to clean out my nose. These are definitely part of my nighttime skincare ritual.

Boscia Intensifying Moisture Pack + - 12$CAD, normally 36$CAD

I haven't tried this out yet since I'm currently testing out other moisturizers, but seeing as the regular price is 36$CAD, I figured I would give it a try! You get a full-size bottle and it says it can be used as either a mask or an intensifier. I will definitely give this a try in the near future. If you've used it, what do you think?

Bite Beauty Lush Lip Trio - 12$CAD

Here's another thing I haven't tried yet. I got this lip trio mainly for my makeup kit since I'm lacking in the gloss department (for sanitation reasons, I'm not using my personal ones that I've double-dipped, so I'm starting a collection strictly for my kit). I almost want to steal the pink one for myself! It seems like it's a matte light to medium pink and it's called Strawberry. Honey is a sparkly peach shade. Cocoa is a matte brown/nude shade. I haven't tried anything from Bite Beauty except for the VIB Rouge mini red lipstick so I'm excited to try these out. Do you like Bite Beauty and if so, what's your favourite product/shade?

Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box - 12$CAD

Now this is the most popular item that was on sale on Boxing Day. Everyone wanted this palette! I was surprised there were still a few left at my local Sephora. I ordered mine on line out of fear they would be sold out by the time I got there. I haven't used it yet but I love the shades! So many colours! It's also great that it comes with a mini Primer Potion. You get shades like Graffiti, which is a bright green, and Peace, which is a bright electric blue to shades like Random, a beautiful blue/purple, and Scratch, a metallic pinky kinda colour. Urban Decay is known for their bright shades, and you get a lot of bright shades in this palette. This is definitely not for your average night out, it's a fun palette that packs a lot of colour!

Stila Chic Cobalt Collection Lipglaze Trio - 12$CAD

I haven't tried any of these glosses yet seeing as I just got this today. I'll just quickly say that I have a million Kitten lipglazes, do they seriously need to include it in every set? The other two colours are Orchard and Hibiscus. They're metallicy shades but I can't say much since I haven't tried them on yet. Hibiscus looks pinky and I can't place it on Orchard, I guess I would say nude? And Kitten is goldeny pink. Can't wait to try out these shades!

Stila Bring On The Night Makeup Set - 28$CAD with 20% off discount applied, worth way way more

This is the set I was most excited about buying. The Bring On The Night makeup set comes with five full-size items!! Five!! For 28$CAD!! Insane!!! It comes with a Custom Color Blush in Self-Adjusting Coral, All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer in Kitten, Lip Glaze in Mango, Smudge Crayon in Black, and a Jewel Eyeshadow in Black Diamond. I got this set mainly for the Black Diamond Jewel Eyeshadow and the Smudge Crayon in Black. I already have a mini of the Luminizer in Kitten. It's not my favourite luminizer, but it isn't bad either. The Black Diamond Jewel Eyeshadow is just beautiful. It's so shimmery when swatched and I can't wait to use it in a look. They did a great job on the formula for this. I always wanted to try out their Smudge Crayon and now I finally can. They advertise it as a primer, shadow, and liner all in one. I will definitely be trying it out as a primer under the jewel eyeshadow and hopefully all the sparkles will stick onto it. It also comes with a little sharpener at the bottom of the pencil! Just twist it off and you'll see it. I thought that was pretty neat since it's a twist-up pencil and it's hard to get a nice point otherwise. It'll definitely be a big help! The Lip Glaze in Mango wouldn't be my ideal pick, as it's a dark berry shade, but I'll give it a try. The Custom Color Blush in Self-Adjusting Coral isn't my ideal pick either, I'd rather have the Self-Adjusting Fuchsia, but it's not a bad shade. I swatched it and it isn't incredibly corally in the sense that it's not orange, but more on the peachy side. It's shimmery and it is extremely pigmented, so be careful when applying it, you only need a tiny tiny bit. I'm curious to see how it will turn up on my skin. I'm actually excited to try out all the products, but most of all, the Black Diamond shadow!! And what a deal this was!

100 Point Perk: Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream

I decided to cash in some of my perks since saw a few things I liked. I don't think I've tried their eye cream but I have tried their moisturizer. I always hear great things about Benefit's skincare line so I thought I'd give this a try. I'll let you know what I think about it after a few uses. The bottle is crazy small and I'm not sure how I'll get my finger in there!

100 Point Perk: Philosophy Hope In A Jar Night

I tried the Philosophy Hope In A Jar (Day) moisturizer and I liked it, so I'm curious to see how the Night moisturizer differs. Right now I'm using the moisturizer I got from their 500 Point Perk just recently and it's pretty good. I may start getting into Philosophy skincare products!

500 Point Perk: NARS The Iconic Set

When I saw this perk I said to myself, wow I have to get this. This set comes with four minis: a mini Pro-Prime Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base, a mini Orgasm Blush, a mini Larger Than Life Lipgloss in Gold Digger, and an Illuminator in Copacabana. I was most excited about the illuminator and the lipgloss. I always wanted to try Copacabana but didn't want to spend that much money in case I didn't like it or didn't use it. I was really impressed! I liked it a lot. I'll probably use it everyday until I run out haha if I'm not using any of the new things I got. The lipgloss was quite lovely too! It's a peach with gold sparkles and it looked very nice. I already have another Orgasm mini and it's also in my One Night Stand palette, so I really didn't need a third. Plus, they include this in all their sets. I love this blush, but it would be nice to have something else for a change. I gave this mini to my mom so that she could try it out and have her own. The mini blush is a good size and lasts quite a while. I'm not really a fan of their primer, I prefer Too Faced Shadow Insurance or Urban Decay Primer Potion. This is my second mini now, I got the first in their previous 500 Point Perk. I wish they'd stop recycling the same products, I want to try something else! Not have a ton of the same ones! But I did enjoy the other things I got in this set.

Thanks for reading! And I hope you enjoyed my Boxing Day Haul! They had some really great deals this year that if I had a never-ending supply of money, I totally would have gotten more stuff! I was mad eyeballing that Ciate Nail Polish Advent Calendar!! I'm happy with the stuff I tried so far and I can't wait to try the rest of it! It was also great to stock up on old favourites at an even greater price! So what did you girls all buy this Boxing Day? And what kind of crazy deals did you find?

My Black Friday Sephora Haul

Hello dolls!

I finally got my Sephora Black Friday shipment!! I just picked it up from the post office this past weekend and I was so excited to play with all my great finds!! I bought most of my Black Friday online from Sephora and I also picked up a few things from the store. Wow was it ever nuts online!! I made sure I was online at 12am and I spent a little while going over with my mom what exactly we were going to buy, so by the time I checked out at 1am, two items in my cart were out of stock! Oh no! Those items were Philosophy's Purity Cleanser and one of the two Makeup Forever Aqua Shadow sets. Fortunately, after refreshing a million times, the Makeup Forever was back in stock and went right back out of stock after I added that to my cart and checked out. I wasn't so lucky about the Purity cleanser, so I decided to get Philosophy's 500 Point Perk which contained a very tiny Purity Cleanser. I really really wanted that cleanser so I sent my mom out to Sephora that morning. And they had it there and I was happy once more! She also picked up a few other things that she thought I would like. They also gave her literally 10 samples. Go mom.

If you were shopping at Sephora on Black Friday like I was, you knew that they had a whole bunch of special items for 12$CAD or 10$US. You could only purchase a max of 2 items. On their site, they also had select items on sale, for example the Stila In The Moment Palette, which went down from 50$CAD to 26$CAD just for that weekend. They are now back up to 50$CAD on the site. I forget what else they had, nothing that I was really interested in. I don't think that this particular sale was advertised anywhere.

I'm going to show both hauls together, so here we go! And I know I bought a ton of crap, but how can you not when all this stuff is worth so much more than what they're selling it for and you know you're going to use it!

I lost a few of the boxes for some products.

I will be doing tutorials/reviews on these products soon.

My Black Friday Sephora Haul

Philosophy Purity Cleanser X2 (12$CAD, worth 34$CAD)

This is a 12 fl. oz. 3-in-1 cleanser, makeup remover, and toner. Philosophy is known for this cleanser. I've been using it a lot since I got it and I love it. It's soft and gentle on the skin, yet it removes every trace of makeup. I really really like it. For the price, you get an insane amount of product so I can understand why everyone went nuts and bought out this product within an hour of the online sale. If you haven't tried this out yet, I suggest you get a sample at Sephora and you'll fall in love.

Bare Minerals Enchanting Eyes (12$CAD, worth 25$CAD)

My mom picked this up for me at the store. It's a cute little compact with two eyeshadows and a sponge tip applicator and also comes with a mini Prime Time, their eye primer. The duo is called The Flashback and the shades are Deja Vu and Amnesia. Deja Vu is a light silver shimmer and Amnesiac is a dark matte grey. I haven't used it yet, but it looks like a great duo to have if you love smokey eyes like I do!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara mini and Perfect Eyes Eyeliner in Perfect Black mini (12$CAD)

My mom picked this up at the store because she knows I love all things Too Faced. She didn't know that I already have a fullsize mascara as well as a mini, and I also have half of the eyeliner, as well as a backup in my drawer. I knew that she was looking for a good black eyeliner and she could also do with a good mascara too, so I told her to keep the set. She didn't want to, but I eventually forced it upon her. I didn't really need it and I knew she did. I love both products. The eyeliner is the darkest matte black you'll find and it goes on so smooth and doesn't come off all day. The only downside is that it does tend to rub off on my contact lenses quite a lot so I can't really use it much anymore unless I don't mind being blind and cleaning my contacts every 5 seconds. But for non-contact wearers, you'll love the eyeliner. The mascara was pretty good, but it isn't my favorite by Too Faced. I much prefer their Lashgasm mascara.

Boscia Pore Perfection Set X2 (12$CAD)

I ordered one set and my mom picked up another in store. It comes with a mini Luminizing Black Mask and 3 Pore Purifying Black Strips. I love their black mask and had always wanted to try their black strips so I had to get this set. Boscia's products are pretty pricy, so this is a very good deal. I'm already in love with the Black Mask. It helps to remove blackheads and impurities, as well as diminish pores. When I tried the Black Strips for the first time, oh my God. They are seriously the best pore cleansing product ever! It removed all my blackheads and made my skin smooth and clean! The only bad thing is that the Black Strips are so expensive! That'll definitely have to go onto my Christmas list. Again, this set was a great value and if you have problems with pores and pimples, you need to check out their entire Black line.

Makeup Forever Aqua Shadow Duo in 2E and 30E (12$CAD, worth 48$CAD)

This was the one that had sold out online while I was trying to check out, but had luckily come back in stock just for me!  I don't have many Makeup Forever products beside their HD Foundation and HD Powder, and I knew what a great value these Aqua Shadow sticks were, so I went for it. This set comes with 2E, which is a matte brown, and 30E which is a pearly pink beige. I wore them yesterday and did the look that was included on the card. I don't usually use shadow sticks so I needed a little guidance. I wasn't a total fan of the look but now I know how I can use these shadow sticks to make a look even better.

Makeup Forever Aqua Shadow Duo in 20E and 28E (12$CAD, worth 48$CAD)

This is the other set of Aqua Shadows that they had. 20E is a pearly taupe and 28E is a pearly beige. The colors are more similar, so I didn't think there's much of a contrast between them until I actually tried them. Again, I did the look on the card that came with the box. The shadow sticks give a soft shimmer to your eye and it's super easy and fast to do! You don't need to be a blending genius to use these shadow sticks and still look beautiful. The value for both these sets is insane, so I had to get both. I'll definitely be experimenting with them, as I don't own any shadow pencils except these now!

Stila Portrait of a Perfect Eye (12$CAD, now 19$CAD)

This Stila palette is part of their Christmas 2013 collection and it went down in price just for Black Friday. This palette contains six different brown/neutral shades: Parchment, Organza, Vintage, Linen, Antique, Rosewood. The first and last shades are matte, and the rest are shimmer. I received this today so I haven't played with it yet, but this is the type of palette you can use everyday for work or school because it's neutral.

Stila Artful Eye Collector's Edition Vol 2 (12$CAD)

This Stila palette and the one below were sold just for Black Friday. This palette is also a brown/neutral palette with 5 shades that are slightly bigger than the size of Portrait of a Perfect Eye. The shades are: Patchouli, Ember, Sandalwood, Rosewood, Eclipse. They are all shimmer except the last one, which is a matte black. You can use this for day looks or night looks. I liked this palette the most when I saw them all online.

Stila Artful Eye Collector's Edition Vol 3 (12$CAD)

This Stila palette was also just sold on Black Friday. This palette is colorful, it has a shade of green, purple, blue, golden-y brown and brown. They are all shimmer. The shades are: Light Apricot, Umber, Aqua-Marine, Soft Violet, Ocean. I think the idea with this palette is to use the goldeny brown and brown shades together and to use one of the three other shades to add a pop of colour to your eyes, especially if you're not used to wearing colors. I haven't tried this palette out either yet since I just got it.

Stila In The Moment Palette (26$CAD, now 50$CAD)

I had gotten samples of three of their palettes a little while back. I have just started trying them out and I love the colors that are in them. The two that were on sale for Black Friday were this one, and In The Garden. I didn't see myself using In The Garden much, but I did see myself using In The Moment because it had both purples and browns. The In The Moment palette contains 10 eyeshadows and one Smudgestick Waterproof Eyeliner in Tetra (purple). The shades are: Instinct, Impulse, Glance, Improvise, Catalyst, Desire, Wonder, Spontaneous, Whim, Captivate. They were selling both palette for half price, which is actually the same price as buying the smudgestick eyeliner alone! Ridiculous! I did a purple eye look a few days ago using this palette and I loved the colors and pigmentation. Since I was using a sample, it was a bit hard to get the color on the brush, but that isn't a problem for the actual palette. The palette also comes with a Lookbook with six looks.

Benefit Gimme Brow in Light/Medium (not a Black Friday deal, 26$CAD)

Now this one wasn't a Black Friday deal, I had suggested this product to my mom because her eyebrow hairs are very very light, so it can seem as if she barely has any eyebrows sometimes. We received it today and I applied it on her brows and what a difference it makes! If you have very fair light hair, this shade is perfect for you. It tints your eyebrows slightly so it looks as if your eyebrows actually exist. The shade is perfect, it doesn't look fake or too obvious or anything like that. It's a subtle difference that helps to shape your eyes and face. If you have very light eyebrows that are barely visible, I recommend this product. It really helps them to show through and it looks completely natural.

Philosophy Box of Miracles (500 Point Perk)

So I ordered this online when I found out that the Black Friday deal on Purity was sold out (my mom found it at our local Sephora later on). I love Philosophy's shower gels so I decided to go for it anyway and try out their skincare products. This a 500 Point Perk that is redeemable online. Some stores may carry it, mine did not. This set comes with a 2 fl. oz. bottle of Purity (really small compared to the huge one I just got!), Miracle Worker Miraculous Anti-Aging Moisturizer, and Miracle Worker Miraculous Anti-Aging Retinoid Eye Cream. I haven't tried the Miracle Worker products yet, but you all know how much I love Purity, which was the whole reason why I decided to get this perk in the first place.

So that's my Black Friday Haul!! Thanks for reading. I hope you were all able to partake in the savings too! It seems like I went a little nuts, but how can you not when you know you're saving so much money on all this stuff? Most of it was stuff that I wanted anyway.

So what great deals did you find?
Did anyone manage to get that amazing deal that Urban Decay had on their website? (I think it was 6 lipsticks for 50?)
And what did end up hauling from Sephora and other makeup stores?

Steph xo.

PS. I have a few posts coming up. I've got a 10 Minute Makeup post, a nail post, and I might do that Perfect Palette Tag.

Bright Purple Smokey Eyes using Stila In The Moment palette

Hello ladies!

[I'm going to be taking a little break to focus on schoolwork and exams. I'm starting to work on Monday part-time from now until I'm done school, so I'll be very busy and unable to post regularly. Of course I will try to post when I can and I'll try to at least finish off what I've already started. Another one of my friends passed away today and I need a little bit of time for myself at this point. Here's the post I prepped yesterday but wasn't able to finish in time.]

I was planning on doing a couple posts but things came up. For one of them, after taking pictures of my makeup and starting to edit, I realize I have this massive black smudge under my eye and that my eyeliner is coming off. I had washed my face already so there was no way I could redo it that day. I really hate when that happens. It's a 10 Minute Makeup tutorial and the theme is a simple color accent. I was also going to use all my new drugstore finds! I still plan on doing this but it'll take a little while longer.

I'm also going to be doing that Perfect Palette Tag that keeps going around! I'm definitely a palette girl, as I hoard a ton of them. So I'm pretty excited to be able to go through them and show them to you and tell you about why I like them.

But moving on to today, wow did any of you go Black Friday shopping? Cuz I did! And it was insane! I was online at Sephora last night at midnight adding a bunch of things to my cart and by the time I check out, around 1am, I realize that a bunch of my items are out of stock!! Total bummer! I kept refreshing and a few things popped back and I was able to get them, but the one thing I really wanted was sold out. It's Philosophy's Purity cleanser, by the way. A 34$CAD value for 12$CAD!! In case you don't know, Sephora's Black Friday deal is that they have a bunch of minis on sale for 12$CAD or 10$US and it is a great value. Since they didn't have my cleanser, I decided to order Philosophy's 500 Point Perk instead, which contains a mini Purity cleanser. Come today, my mom went shopping at Sephora at 10am and they had my cleanser!! So my mom got two for me. Which is the maximum they let you buy for an item. So now I have a bunch of Purity! I am definitely going to be doing a Black Friday Shopping Haul but I was planning on waiting for my box to arrive full of all my online goodies. It'll probably take at least a week for it to get here so it might be awhile before I post about it.

So about today's look. I decided to go for a Bright Purple Smokey Eye. I realized that I don't have a tutorial on doing a bright purple eye, most of the time I'm always doing dark purples, or blackened purples, and sparkles. I love wearing purple smokey eyes even though I don't wear them as often as I used to. I think purple looks great on a lot of people, and to me, it's a staple makeup look that everyone should do. I always pair a purple eye with pink blush and lip color, the two colors look perfect together and make the look complete. A very long time ago, I got samples of three of Stila's palettes and I never got around to trying them out, partly because I didn't want to mess them up (I know right? I'm so weird). I'm using the In The Moment palette, which is the purple one. I'll include a picture of the actual palette and not the sample I'm using since you can't get it anymore. For Black Friday, Sephora has put certain things on sale and this palette is one of them! Instead of the regular price of 50$CAD, it is now 26$CAD!! Which is the same price as one of their Smudgestick Waterproof Eye Pencils!!! So naturally I bought one, it's an insane crazy deal. Out of all the four, I like this one and the brown palette (In The Light) the best. But the only ones on sale are this one and the green one (In The Garden). So get this palette on sale while you still can. The reason why I like this palette so much is because of its versatility. There are lots of browns and purples, so you can pick whichever color you want to wear that day. That's why I like it a bit better than the brown, you're not stuck with only brown shades, though I do like that palette as well. Oh and I forgot to mention that each palette comes with an eyeliner and I'm using the one that comes with this palette. It didn't come with my samples, I already have it. So I've blabbed on long enough, continue on reading to see how I got this fabulous look!

I'm not doing any swatches for this look because this is a sample palette and there's not much there. However, I will be swatching the entire palette when I do another tutorial using it after I've gotten it shipped to my house. Sorry!

Bright Purple Smokey Eyes using Stila In The Moment Palette

As usual, start by priming your eyes with Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Using Stila's In The Moment palette, start packing Impulse onto your lid using a medium shadow brush (MAC 239). Now, using a blending brush (MAC 217), blend Glance into the crease and outer V. I like to feather the color up and out. Then, take a crease brush (Sephora Pro Crease Brush) and lightly dust Instinct under the brow bone to highlight. I also like to add a bit in the inner eye. I also like to go back in and blend the crease again. Once you're happy with your eyes, take the eyeliner that comes with palette, which is the Stila Smudgestick Waterproof Eyeliner in Tetra, a sparkly dark purple. Line both top and bottom lash lines. Then take MAC Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline and fill in both top and bottom waterlines. Then apply two coats of Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and you're done the eyes! Just fill in your brows using Benefit Instant Brow Pencil in Medium and you're ready to move on to the face.

Again, start by priming your face with Too Faced Primed and Poreless. If you have under eye circles, apply MAC Pro Longwear Concealer using a concealer brush (Sephora Pro Concealer Brush). Then apply MUFE HD Foundation using a stippling brush (Sephora Pro Stippling Brush) to get an air-brushed effect. If there are any pimples or redness still showing, cover them up using MAC Studio Finish Concealer. Then apply MUFE HD Powder with a kabuki brush (MUFE HD Kabuki) all over your face to set the foundation and concealer. Then, using a contour brush (MAC 168) and Too Faced Bronzed and Poreless, contour your cheeks, the perimeter of the face, the temples, the nose, etc. Then apply MAC Cremeblend Blush in So Sweet So Easy using a short duo fiber brush (MAC 130). Start at the apples of your cheeks and blend outward and down into the bronzer. Then take a powder brush and Physician's Formula Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls in Translucent Pearl and apply it to the tops of your cheekbones, the cupid's bow, the brow arch, and anywhere else you want to highlight. The last step is to apply MAC Lipglass in Oyster Girl. If you want your makeup to last all day and all night, apply a few spritzes of Urban Decay's All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! I can't believe it took me this long to do one of the Stila palettes, but it's finally done!  I'm pretty sure this palette is only on sale for this weekend for Black Friday so remember to buy it if you're interested before it goes back to full price! 26$CAD is a fantastic deal. That's the price of one of Stila's eyeliners so it's like you're buying an eyeliner and getting a whole entire palette for free. Only two out of four palettes are on sale, In The Moment (purple) and In The Garden (green), and the other two are regular price.

What did you think of my softer bright purple smokey eye? I thought it was a pleasant change to my usual shades of blacks and browns. I also find a light pink goes perfect with a purple eye. I can't really say much about the quality of the shadows, since I'm using a sample that's pressed onto a sheet of paper so it's not necessarily the same as the actual palette. Stila's eyeliners are decent to line around the eyes, but I don't like them for lining my waterline. So what did you think of today's makeup look? I'm in love with MAC Cremeblend Blush in So Sweet, So Easy. It's a perfect yellow-toned pink and the cream can be layered until you reach your perfect opacity. I preferred to go softer today. Their lipglass in Oyster Girl was my number one favorite lipglass as a teenager. I used to wear it all the time. Nowadays, I've found other products that I like better, but I always come back to this one. The rest of my makeup is pretty much the usual except the under eye concealer. I mentioned that I got the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. Now that I've been using it for about a week, I can say that it is better than MAC Select Cover-Up, not that Select Cover-Up was bad or anything, it's just slightly better so it has now become my holy grail under eye concealer.

So enough of me talking, what did you think of my lighter purple smokey eye? Did you like Stila's In The Moment palette? Which is your favorite out of the four palettes? I have samples of each of them except the blue one, so is there a look you want me to do using the other two palettes? Also, what is your favorite MAC lipglass? Thanks for reading!
