For today's "Tutorial Tuesday" I'm doing a basic smokey taupe eye makeup look using MAC eyeshadows. It's an easy look that anyone can pull off and it looks beautiful. Instead of doing a dark, bold smokey eye, this one is a little bit more day-appropriate but can also be worn for an evening out.
MAC Smokey Taupe Eyes: The Look
Eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
MAC eyeshadows:
- Phloof: Used as a base and as a highlight. Apply all over the eye area, from the lashes to the brow,
- Satin Taupe: Apply this to the lid, leave the outer corner of the lid blank, we will fill this in with the crease color
- Black Tied: apply to the crease, about halfway. I stop at the pupil. Bring it down to the outer lid to get the outer v. Can also be used to line the eyes.
Too Faced Perfect Eyes Eyeliner in Perfect Black (Tightline the top and bottom lashes.)

NARS Larger Than Life Lipgloss in International Velvet (any other light pink/violet lipgloss would do)
I hope you enjoyed this look! It's really simple to recreate and looks gorgeous both as a day look and as a night look. You don't need every single one of the products used, I encourage you to use similar colors and make up your own look.
